Privacy Policy
Last updated July 21, 2026. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use our site and place flower orders for delivery in the United States and Canada.
Overview
Anniversary Gifts ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website and an online storefront for anniversary flower delivery in the United States and Canada. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our site or place an order.
By using this website or submitting information at checkout, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or provide personal information.
Who we are and how orders work
Anniversary Gifts is an affiliate storefront. Flower orders are fulfilled through FloristOne and its florist network (Florist 1 LLP and its affiliates, subcontractors, and local florists — collectively, our "florist network partner" or "Provider"). We do not operate a local flower shop and do not hand-deliver orders ourselves.
When you place a flower order, information you provide is transmitted to our florist network partner so they can process payment, fulfill delivery, provide customer service, and send order confirmations. Under our agreements with the Provider, flower purchasers are also customers of the Provider for order acceptance, fulfillment, pricing, credits, and refunds.
Information we collect
We collect personal information that you choose to provide and limited technical information generated when you use the site.
- Identity and contact details: your name, email address, and phone number.
- Delivery information: recipient name, street address, city, state or province, postal code, country (United States or Canada), delivery date, optional card message, and optional delivery instructions.
- Billing information: billing name and billing address when different from the delivery address.
- Payment information: credit or debit card number, expiration date, and security code are entered in your browser and tokenized through Authorize.net Accept.js. We receive a one-time payment token — not your full card number — and send that token to our florist network partner to place the order. We do not store card numbers, expiration dates, or CVV/CID on our servers or in our databases.
- Network and device data: IP address (passed to our florist network partner for fraud prevention when you place an order), browser type, and standard server or hosting logs.
- Address lookup queries: if you use address autocomplete at checkout, the text you type may be sent to Google Places API (New) through our servers to suggest addresses. Google processes those queries under its own terms and privacy policies.
Information we do not collect
We do not require you to create an account to browse or checkout. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not currently operate a marketing email list, loyalty program, or third-party advertising analytics on this site.
How we use information
- Process and transmit your flower order to our florist network partner.
- Calculate delivery fees, taxes, and order totals through the Provider's API.
- Display order confirmation on our site after a successful purchase.
- Help you enter addresses accurately at checkout.
- Prevent fraud and secure checkout (including passing IP address to the Provider when required).
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website and comply with law.
- Respond to privacy requests and legal inquiries directed to us.
How we share information
We share personal information with service providers and partners only as needed to operate the site and fulfill orders. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- FloristOne / Florist 1 LLP and its florist network: order details, customer and recipient contact information, delivery instructions, payment token, order total, and IP address for order placement, payment processing, fulfillment, confirmations, customer service, and fraud prevention.
- Authorize.net (via Accept.js): card details you enter are sent directly from your browser to Authorize.net for tokenization; we receive only the resulting token.
- Google (Places API): address search text and session tokens when you use autocomplete.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (such as Vercel): server logs and technical data necessary to deliver the website.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
Payment card data
Checkout uses HTTPS. Card data is captured only in your browser session through Authorize.net Accept.js and is tokenized before our servers receive payment information. We do not log, store, or retain primary account numbers or card security codes after the checkout session ends, consistent with our FloristOne API obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our site uses only technologies necessary to operate checkout and deliver pages. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or consumer marketing analytics platforms. Your browser may store standard session data. Hosting providers may process technical logs that include IP addresses and user agents.
Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed to operate the website, complete order transmission, handle privacy requests, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Order and payment records maintained by our florist network partner are retained according to the Provider's policies.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the information we handle, including HTTPS for checkout, environment-variable storage for API credentials, and tokenized payments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
